Born: 19 May 1862  Brighton, England.  Died: 22 December 1886.
Thomas Henry Bowyer-Bower was curator of ornithology at the Western Australian Museum c1886.

Career Highlights
Born Brighton, England, 19 May 1862. Died Northern Territory, 22 December 1886. Made two trips to Australia to collect birds, the first to Cairns 1884-85 and the second, with the taxidermist Walter Burton, to north-western Australia 1886; then collected on Thursday Island, off Cape York, and at Palmerston in the Northern Territory 1886. Many of the skins were presented to the British Museum in 1887 and the remainder given to G.M. Mathews (q.v.)
