Born: 11 December 1872  Geelong, Victoria, Australia.  Died: 31 July 1954  Camberwell, Victoria, Australia.
Edward Edgar Pescott, Principal Governor, School of Horticulture, Burnley, Victoria 1909-16, and Government Pomologist, Victorian Department of Agriculture 1917-37 was an authority on native orchids and made weekly radio broadcasts on native flora from the early 1920s.
