Born: 1875 Abingdon, Berkshire, England. Died: 8 July 1951 Caboolture, Queensland, Australia. | ||
Ellen Barron worked at the Queensland Government Baby Clinics from 1918 under the guidance of Florence Chatfield and in 1924 worked with Truby King in New Zealand. From 1923-39 she was superintendent of the Baby Clinics and started a training course for infant nurses. She was a foundation member and trustee of the Nurses' Rest Home and Benevolent Fund. |
