Arthur Rudolph Bailey opened a pharmacy in Melbourne in 1894 and became an active member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Victoria. He also edited the "Australasian Journal of Pharmacy" from 1920. |

Commercial photographer Ballarat, Melbourne and Charters Towers ca 1884-90; pharmacist, Malvern 1894-1938. President, Pharmaceutical Soicety of Victoria 1903-06, 1912-15, 1924-25, president, Pharmacy Board of Victoria 1919-23, 1929-30 and 1935-36, president, Australian Pharmaceutical conference 1913-23. Compiled "Digest of the new and more important features of the British pharmacopaeia - 1914" with Sidney Plowman. |
