Born: 26 November 1850  New Norfolk, Tasmania, Australia.  Died: 14 August 1919  Queenstown, Tasmania.
Thomas Bather Moore, a prospector, amateur botanist and geologist, explored many areas of Tasmania, particularly the west. He also collected plant specimens for F. Mueller.
