Born: 12 November 1868 Surry Hills, New South Wales, Australia. Died: 23 May 1923 Sydney, New South Wales. | ||
(Sir) Herbert Lethington Maitland was a physician at the Sydney and other hospitals and from 1909 was the first Lecturer in Clinical Surgery when Sydney Hospital became a clinical school of the University of Sydney. In 1916 he became Director of the Sydney Hospital. |
