Charles Mitford Lilley was one of Australia’s top general surgeons during the 1900s and an expert in thyroid surgery. He worked at the Brisbane Hospital for over thirty-five years and became a consultant general surgeon in Wickham Terrace. He also worked as an Honorary Surgeon for the Anglican nuns and was devoted to his patients and profession. |
