Edward James Horwood, a University of Melbourne civil engineering graduate of 1884, joined BHP in 1891. He was later appointed Manager, Broken Hill 1899 and Superintendent of Mines 1919. He patented a process for the differential flotation of slime zinc and lead sulphides. |
