Keith Edward Bullen was Professor of Applied Mathematics, University of Sydney 1946-71 but had earlier worked at Auckland University College 1928-40 and the University of Melbourne 1940-45. He studied at Cambridge under H. Jeffreys working on theoretical seismology. |

Teacher, Auckland Grammar School 1926-27; lecturer in mathematics, Auckland University College 1928-31, 1934-40; senior lecturer in mathematics, University of Melbourne 1940-45; professor of applied mathematics, University of Sydney 1946-71. Fellow, Royal Society 1949, Foundation Fellow, Australian Academy of Science 1954; research medal, Royal Society of Victoria 1966. | ||
