Born: 2 February 1871 Arendal, Norway. Died: 5 December 1914 at sea. | ||
Harald Kristian Dannevig was appointed by the New South Wales government as superindentent of fisheries investigations and fish hatcheries in 1902. In 1908 he became Commonwealth Director of Fisheries and identified large trawlable fishing grounds around south-eastern Australia. |
