Wallis, William Fisher (1874 - 1963)

Geophysicist and Magnetic observer

Born: 5 June 1874 Baltimore, Maryland, United States of America. Died: 23 June 1963.

William Fisher Wallis worked for the Department of Terrestrial Magnetism at the Carnegie Institution of Washington, USA from 1913 to 1946. He was sent to Western Australia as Observer-in-charge at the Watheroo Magnetic Observatory in 1919.
