Born: 31 December 1777  France.  Died: 21 March 1840.
Louis Henri D. de Freycinet, the older brother of Louis Claude, visited the Pacific with Baudin's expedition 1800-4 on "Le Geographe" with the rank of 'etat-major du premier'.
