Newland, Henry Simpson (1873 - 1969)

Born: 24 November 1873  Kensington, South Australia, Australia.  Died: 13 November 1969.
(Sir) Henry Simpson Newland held surgical lecturing appointments in the University of Adelaide's Medical School 1912-38. During World War I he was lieut -colonel commanding the Australian section of the Queen Mary Hospital where pioneer work in plastic surgery was carried out.
