John Wilcox Stocker is a Chief Scientist of the Victorian Department of Primary Industries. He was Chief Executive of CSIRO from 1990 to 1995 and Director of Research and Innovation at Pratt Industries. In 1996 Stocker was one of the founders of Foursight Associates, a company advising on R&D and science to companies, investment institutions, academics and government. He was educated at the University of Melbourne (MB, BS, BMedSc, PhD) and worked in medicine soon after graduating. |
