Quayle, Edwin Thomas (1862 - 1955)

Meteorologist
Born: 1862  Amphitheatre, near Avoca, Victoria, Australia.  Died: October 1955.
Edwin Thomas Quayle worked for the Melbourne Observatory, 1890-1908, and the Bureau of Meteorology, 1908-1924, publishing on long-range forecasting and investigating the climate relationships later known as the Southern Oscillation Index.
