Industrial chemist

A. E. Finn, of the ICI Australia Research Laboratories, helped F.P. Bowden and his co-workers in the mid-1940s to discover the profound effect which minute bubbles of included gas have on the impact sensitivity of explosives such as nitroglycerine.
