Leo Radom has been at the Australian National University since 1974 and Professor, Research School of Chemistry since 1991. He uses computer calculations to make predictions of molecular structures and reactions.

Rennie Medal 1977; Fellow, Royal Australian Chemical Institute 1979; Fellow, Australian Academy of Science 1988; H.G. Smith Medal, Royal Australian Chemical Institute 1988; Maccoll Prize, Organic Mass Spectrometry 1991; Archibald Olle Prize 1992; Schrodinger Medal, World Association of Theoretically Oriented Chemists 1994 (first Australian to receive this award).
