McKay, Brendan Damien (1951 - )

Born: 26 October 1951  Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
Brendan Damien McKay is Professor of Computer Science at the Australian National University in Canberra. His association with the University and Computer Science Department has been long and varied, beginning in 1980 when he was appointed Assistant Professor. During his illustrious career, McKay has authored at least 127 refereed publications, has been an Editor of many top class mathematical journals including The Electronic Journal of Combinatorics, Australasian Journal of Combinatorics and the SIAM Journal of Discrete Mathematics, and has been a long-term council member of the Combinatorial Mathematics Society of Australasia. Brendan McKay was elected a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Science (FAA) in 1997.
