R. Wallace, a professor at Edinburgh University and formerly a lecturer at Cirencester agricultural college in England, visited New South Wales about 1890. He addressed the Agricultural Society and conferred with the Premier, Sir Henry Parkes. In 1891 he wrote The Rural Economy and Agriculture of Australia and New Zealand, as seen by Robert Wallace. |
