Radiologist

Mary Ethel J. Thornton was specialist in radiology in the Royal Army Medical Corps, with the rank Major, serving in England and the Middle East during the Second World War. She was later visiting specialist in radiation at the Repatriation General Hospital, Heidelberg, Victoria.
