Born: 20 November 1936  Armidale, New South Wales, Australia
Bruce William Chappell is Adjunct Professor in the Department of Earth and Planetary Science at Macquarie University in Sydney. His research speciality is the evolution of granites and their role in the fractionation of the Earth’s crust.
