Dracoulis, George Dennis (1944 - )

Born: 19 December 1944  Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
George Dennis Dracoulis is Professor and Head of the Department of Nuclear Physics at the Research School of Physical Sciences and Engineering, Australian National University. He and his group are recognised leaders in the field of atomic nuclei research, especially on very neutron-deficient nuclei and in the understanding of unusual Nuclear states. Dracoulis has produced over 230 scientific publications, has helped organise a great number of national and international conferences and has been the recipient of many illustrious awards and honours.
